The protestor who brought the Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race to a standstill over the vac has appeared in court to plead not guilty causing a public nuisance.
Trenton Oldfield, 36, appeared at Isleworth Crown Court in London last Wednesday. He spoke only to confirm his name and enter his plea.
He will stand trial on 24th September. In the meantime he is subject to strict bail conditions aimed at preventing any repeat protest by the anti-elitism campaigner.
Oldfield is banned from going anywhere near the Diamond Jubilee or Olympic events, the Henley Royal Regatta in Oxfordshire in late June and early July or Royal Ascot in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in late June.
